  • “There really is no substitute for having an animal in hand to learn to ID something properly and get an idea of where it might hang out – having a memory of the place and people along with finding that species for the first time really does cement it into memory! It was so great to have so many experienced herpers come to the course as well – breaking off into small groups and learning from each instructor during our surveys was really helpful. I had an awesome time, learned a ton, and have finally dried off!”
